Our flexible tariff has been designed to offer you the best available rate through out the year, the earlier you book and the longer you stay , the better the prices will be.

The offer of any accommodation is subject to the room still being available on receipt of the deposit. No allowance is made for meals not taken or rooms not occupied for the full period of the booking. On day of arrival rooms may not be ready until 3pm, but you are welcome earlier. On day of departure rooms must be vacated by 11.00am.

Cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation, if we are unable to re-let the accommodation you will be held legally liable to two thirds of the total cost of the booking. The hotel operates a scheme to cover your liability to the hotel and also secures the return of your deposit for the following reasons: Sickness, Bereavement, Redundancy, Business Commitments. The charge is £5.00 per adult and £2.50 per child and is obligatory to every booking. The fee should be added to you deposit when booking.

The balance of your main account is due on arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cash, Credit Cards or Debit Cards are accepted. You will be required to provide an imprint of a credit or debit card on arrival to allow goods or services to be added to your room account, such as telephone calls and drinks. All cheques must be received minimum of seven days prior to arrival. Any extras charged to your account (drinks, snacks etc) can be settled on the evening prior to departure up to 10.30pm or on the morning of departure from 8.00am.

On arrival, a credit or debit card will be required and this card will be pre-authorised for the account, plus an estimated amount (from £50 per day) for extras such as meals, drinks etc. Any outstanding charges will be debited on departure. For guests without a card, cash will be required on arrival to cover all of the above.

Rooms may not be ready until 2.30pm on the day of arrival; however guests are welcome to use the hotel facilities in case of early arrival or late departure. Early check in and late check out are subject to availability.

Maintenance, changes and improvements take place all year round, because the hotel no longer closes in the winter, except for a few days over Christmas. No compensation will be offered if a facility is not available, but we will endeavor to provide a suitable alternative.

Personal belongings are the responsibility of each member of the party, and items of value can be left in the hotel night safe. We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss or damage to your property unless such loss is demonstrably due to our negligence. We cannot be held responsible for the failure of public services (e.g. water, gas, electricity etc.) or for any disturbance that is beyond our control. In all cases, except personal injury or death, our liability to you for the total of all claims arising out of your holiday with us, is limited to the cost of the booking.

Prices are correct at the time of publication, but may change without notice, with the exception of confirmed bookings. Confirmed bookings will not alter other than to reflect any alterations in tax, E&OE.

Behavior of guests and their visitors should not be excessive or rowdy, and must not cause annoyance, distress or embarrassment to fellow guests. We reserve the right to recover from the person making the booking any discretionary compensation payment, or discount, we may have to pay to any other guests, as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings, and includes flood damage.

There is limited parking within the hotel grounds where cars may be left at the owners risk. You will be required to display a parking permit in your car.

Children Under 14 qualify for half price meals.

Single occupancy is only available outside bank holidays and high season dates in rooms that occupy two or more. It is charged at 70% of the total tariff. Complimentary accommodation for children occupying a cot.

Terms are per room per night including Full English Breakfast, VAT at 17.5% and full use of Victoria Hotel Facilities.

As a Victorian hotel purpose built in 1897 all our rooms are individual in size and style, adding to there charm and character.

Lift operation is subject to tidal, environmental and mechanical conditions, therefore operation can not be guaranteed at all times.
